Welcome back to Day 4 of our 12 Days of Infusions series!

Today's infusion and cocktail recipe, The Sherry Cask Old Fashioned, is courtesy of craft cocktail expert Sean Rapoza. Sean manages the cocktail program at Balliceaux in the heart of Richmond, VA's historic Fan District.

His infusion is a take on the Japanese malt whiskey Yamazaki Sherry Cask, named World Whiskey of the Year by Jim Murray in the Whiskey Bible 2015. Now on to the recipes:

"I was inspired by the Japanese malt whisky Yamazaki Sherry Cask...I wanted the infusion to reflect the nutty, spicy character that sherry cask-aging imparts."
