Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. Belle Isle Premium Moonshine
- 1 1/2 oz. pecan simple syrup
- Dash of peach bitters
For the pecan simple syrup
- 1 cup pecans
- 1/2 qt. honey
- 1 qt. water
Preparation
Start by preparing the pecan simple syrup. Roast one cup of pecans until they are golden brown on 300 degrees for approximately 15 minutes. While heating pecans, put 1/2 qt honey and 1 qt water into a sauce pan and heat until emulsified. Put golden brown pecans into the honey syrup and steep for 30 minutes and strain off. Refrigerate.
To prepare the cocktail – simply combine all ingredients, add ice, stir, and strain into coupe glass.
