Monk on Moonshine
Ingredients
- 38 oz. of Belle Isle Premium Moonshine
- 19 1/2 oz. of Punt e Mes Sweet Vermouth
- 4 oz. of Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
- 4 oz. of Green Chartreuse
- Luxardo Maraschino Cherries for garnish
Preparation
Use a new, charred oak 2 liter barrel. Prep the barrel by filling it with hot water for 3-5 days to seal the wood. Drain and let dry. Fill barrel with spirits.
Age cocktail for 5-6 week to bring out the flavors and provide texture. To serve the cocktail, stir in a small shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with Luxardo Maraschino Cherries.
